Great starter guitar for a learner

Bought for sons 8th birthday and during lessons all his tutors comment in what a nice bass guitar this is. He has had it for an over a year and although he has dropped it and banged it by accident on the drums kits a few times in the studio it is still looking good and sounding great. Full size though, it is big and rather heavy so perhaps I should have bought a smaller one to start with ?????♀?

Excellent bass for the money. As a guitarist looking for a bass to experiment with and record, I chose this P-Bass. It needed some minor adjustments, but overall, it's a solid instrument. The sound is spot-on for a P-Bass, and the satin finish is a nice touch. I even customized mine with a black pickguard. These basses are great and have me considering adding a Telecaster to my collection.

It felt like this bass was professionally set up right out of the box. Everything was perfectly adjusted—smooth frets, straight neck, and perfect string height. The strings are decent for the price and the pickups deliver that classic tone. The weight is well-balanced and not too heavy. I'm impressed by the quality for such a low price and might get the Strat version as well.

I bought this bass for my daughter, who is just starting out. As someone who has played guitar and bass for years, I think this P-Bass is fantastic for the price. It has a nice weight and the pickups sound great and are adjustable. For the money, I don't think you'll find a better option.
