For $80ish, this bass is pretty good. Pickup works nicely, sounds punchy like a p bass should. Action is a bit high, but not too bad. The only issue I've noticed is the neck-dive. If I were advising someone wanting to learn bass, I might push them toward something nicer, but for just a p bass on the side, I'd say this is definitely a bargain.

Like many of the reviews I found, for the money, this is an pretty good bass. Out of the box it just needed a tune up. The action is a little high for my liking but by no means bad. Electrical noise, at least playing through a USB sound card, is very low to not noticeable. A great first bass and probably one that will hang around ....... if you have enough space :)

After recommending a Glarry bass to a friend and seeing the sound a quality of hers, I purchased one for my music studio for visiting musicians. After I took delivery, my business partner and I were amazed and pleased with our new bass. A co-worker expressed an interest in playing the bass so... I bought him one as well and he was ecstatic. The Glarry transaction was flawless! The Bass Guitar arrived about 12 days after I ordered it. The guitar was in excellent condition upon arrival and could be played, out of the box, after tuning it. However, one pick guard screw was missing! I contacted Glarry for a replacement screw, to which they immediately responded with the sad news that no screw replacement was available but offered a $5 rebate which I accepted as a settlement. I conducted a complete setup on this bass guitar and it ...

Like many have said, the headstock and seem a little heavy, but adjusting the included guitar strap solves the problem. I bought this to just find out how your P-Basses perform. I'm pleasantly surprised. The neck is a little thicker than most of the basses I own and that takes a bit of getting used to. I needed to remove the sharp edges on the frets and adjust the bridge and it was ready to play. The bass sounds great, looks great and plays great.

I would recommend a new set of strings as the ones that come with it although playable are pretty low end. The finish was very good on the guitar as well. Keep in mind though, the body is very lightweight (might be the lightest bass I've ever played) and the neck is heavier, so she is a dive bomber folks, just keep that in mind. Would gladly purchase another!

This bass guitar is amazing! It arrived right away, and right out of the box, it was a joy to play. I've already plugged it into my DAW and recorded with it, and of course it sounds great through my amp (and even alone, tbh—just for practicing fingering...I'm new to the bass). Strings are fabulous, they stay tuned, tone is amazing—everything about it is perfect. Highly recommend!

First things first. I picked the yellow because I liked the bright yellow collar that is shown. The yellow is more orange and not at all the collar that is shown. Lost one star for that. The bass is nice and sounds great. At this price I would recommend to anyone. Great for kids first guitar. Lighter than most, yet solid and plays nice. Thanks Glarry! Still wish that it was the bright yellow as shown.

The bass is very solid! I owned a $3000+ bass and it was my pride and joy for years. However, due to family matters, I had to let the instrument go for money. I purchased this pbass and I instantly felt how solid the instrument is! It was as if the instrument had been setup prior to being mailed to me. I love it! I'm working with a family member on a record and it is being put to work straight out of the box!

surprisingly good beginner bass for the price! I've been a guitarist for a few months now and wanted to pick up bass, heard a few reviewers talking about glarry, and figured why not. For $80 this is the best bass you could ever get, and i would fully recommend it. I do plan on modding it eventually as the electronics are really just starter grade, the finished body and neck are worth the $80 alone so the fact this thing makes sound really is amazing.

The instrument arrived on time, packaged safely. The bass itself is great fun to play, stays in tune pretty well, and sounds fine. I use it with a DAW and BIAS FX and I get what I need. It is light, straight, looks good. I saw several videos online where each reviewer was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product at the price point. I have the same reaction. I will likely buy additional instruments form Glarry.
