I just got this Bass Wednesday/Yesterday. I bought this exact model 3 years ago and learned on that bass. Playing hours out of the day. You can definitely learn and gig with this bass. Most importantly the GP1 PRECISION BASS I bought 3 years was and is excellent but Glarry really made some improvements on this bass. Good for the price, pleasantly surprised.This is a good deal for the price, overall better than I expected. Great violin, does require you to put the bridge and taper your own frets but was expected. Great sound and worth the price!

This is an excellent beginners bass, especially for the money. I would recommend getting this with a Vox amPlug 2 bass. It gives you the sound of an amp, but it goes to a set of headphones instead of a giant amp speaker. The perfect combo for a beginner who doesn't want to blow their roomates, or their neighbor's, eardrums out while they're learning how to play!

Beautiful instrument. Well crafted. Nice tone. But the bridge isn't already installed. Had to take it to a tuner to get that put on properly.

Decent for the money. Having said that, the kit is not bad for the money. The amp works although the drive channel is a bit of a joke. Better off getting an inexpensive drive pedal separately if needed. The clean tones are fine. Has enough volume for a practice amp. Seems to have a decent speaker magnet given the weight. Surprisingly Good.I bought this to use as a mod platform, figuring that at this price point I'd have to replace everything. Not so. There are no sharp fret ends, no dead spots, no blemishes in the finish, the pickups sound remarkably good and distinct from each other, it's well balanced so no neck dive, yet it's light.
