This is my first bass and I am amazed by this thing I was gonna purchase one from a pricey company but I saw Charles Berthoud play this and he recommended it and when I saw the price I couldn't argue at all. I'm so happy with it after getting it professionally set up it's a dream I couldn't ask for a better beginner bass. Can't wait to start upgrading it!!!

This is a great bass. I use it for church band. It sounds awesome and it is very well made. If you are looking for a great bass for a very reasonable amount of money, don't hesitate to buy one if these instruments.

This Glarry Jazz bass has a nice neck and plays well .... great price for an electric bass. I would definitely buy more guitars from Glarry but unfortunately they never have any stock available for sale in the UK anymore.....? This is a real shame as I would like to buy the Semi-Hollow Tele and Strat style electric guitars they offer on the web site.

This is my first purchase and first bass ever. I've always wanted to learn how to play and finally it is happening. So far the bass guitar is working perfectly right out of the box. Good sound, looks great, package arrived quickly and with no damage. Definitely recommend!

I can't say that I know of a better bass for the insanely low price I paid. I will be ordering the P bass as well. I have been playing bass for 19 years, and this bass with a setup sounds great! Highly recommended.

I liked the affordable price and the look of the blue sunburst jazz bass. My plan was to completely modify it which I did. I sanded and stained the neck a darker color, applied several coats of polyurethane and a final coat of paste wax. The electronics were upgraded to alpha pots, braided wires and alnico5 pickups, a new wilkinson brass saddle bridge, black machine tuners, bone nut, black jazz bass volume/tone knobs, flat wound strings and a tortoise shell pickguard. While this instrument is completely fine for a beginner, I am more of a seasoned player and was up to the challenge of a fun project. Could I suggest maybe selling only bare body and neck without parts at a lower price which people could build their own instrument to their personal taste? Also, the internet is a wonderful place for information if someone knows where to look, but a beginner might not understand how or even if they need to adjust their truss rod or bridge saddles. Perhaps an included instruction booklet might also be useful as these instruments are catering towards beginners. I also modified a Glarry white P bass in a similar way but less extensive as the jazz. I had a lot of fun with these projects.

This a good bass guitar and a really great value. You just need to be ready for the little problems that you may find. The cavities are not shielded and the guitar does pickup noise. The neck pickup was stuck in the guard and had to be pulled a bit to come up to height. After a little setup and tinkering, it plays well and is fun. Just be aware that it needs a bit of TLC.

My Glarry GJazz! "Big Enos" I bought it with the intent to covert it to fret less. I also upgraded the pickups to Guitar Fetish 10k Alnico's. Also the electronics and the bridge. I finished it off with some D'Addario flat wound strings and black screws in the pick guard for added flair. Lol! This bass was great right out of the box I only made it "mine" with the changes. This is my fourth Glarry guitar! I also have a white Glarry violin "Little Enos"! Highly recommended! Great platform for tin ...

I was looking for an inexpensive axe to use as a project bass, and found Glarry after seeing quite a few positive YouTube reviews. While it's a little rough (literally) around the edges, this bass is definitely a good value for the money. The good: the body is light, the neck is straight, electronics work as they should, and the frets are dressed better than guitars I've paid ten times the price for. The not so good: the body may be a bit too light as there's some neck dive, the control plate ...

The not so good: the body may be a bit too light as there's some neck dive, the control plate has some scuffs and scratches, the paint on the back of the top horn has some bubbling, the finish on the back of the neck near the body is a bit rough and needs sanding, and the fretboard was extremely dry out of the box. Even with these deficiencies, this is an excellent value for the price I paid.

Amazing bass! I'm a beginner but I'm extraordinarily surprised at the quality for the cost. I was expecting the wood to feel cheap and the strings to be unbearable, but it really punches above its weight. If your a beginner looking for a cheap good bass, this is it.

4 because of the price, playability, the look is so great! First bass, also impulsively play unplugged. Took some free fender lessons over last summer. Anyway, there was a loose wire unsoldered to one of the pots. Bought a cheap solder gun and got reimbursed for it ( thankfully, thanks Glarry! ). But it still shorts out at times if I'm sitting and leaning downward. Hey I used to be a pretty darn good solderer at a camera shop. Maybe I would get a 200-300 dollar bass next to play out with. But th ...

Awesome. Plays great right out of box. Definitely going to upgrade some of the hardware, replace the strings, condition the neck and adjust the action a little, but for the price you cant beat it. Such a great bass. Wont be my last from yall.

Shockingly good value. I have two other more expensive bases, but this has become my favorite in many ways. Changed the strings to a set of nyxl roundwounds. Needed to do a full setup including neck, bridge and filing fret sprouts, but well worth it. Sounds great and plays well. Had a 1963 Fender Jazz Bass many years ago. The Glarry sounds about the same, but with beefier neck, similar to an older Fender Precision neck. Well worth the money.

If you're new to the bass, this is completely normal and needs the truss rod adjusting, and adjustment at the bridge where the strings sit. I didn't think I would get used to it so quick but the connection was immediate. ...
